Ubisoft Morocco, or Ubisoft Casablanca (in English): This was a Moroccan studio established by Ubisoft in early 1998, with 90% of its staff being Moroccan. It began by developing games for older consoles such as Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, PlayStation 2, and GameCube, as well as PC games, contributing to and assisting in the development of AAA titles, among others. Later, in 2005, it expanded to developing games for handheld consoles like the NDS/3DS. In 2007, it also established a Ubisoft campus in partnership with the Moroccan company Sigma , which operated until 2010. Following this, it expanded to mobile devices and the PS Vita in 2011, before closing in 2016 due to administrative, financial, and marketing issues.
