Influenced by the likes of Prince of Persia, Viewtiful Joe and Zelda, yet distinguished by its unique art work and visual style, Sanam is a side-scrolling platformer in the making at Team Food Fighter Sanam follows the story of Fijleh, a radish monk expert in sword play and weaponary. Having a general disdain for people and anything that comes in his way, his search for inner peace is distrubed by 'Idols', Gods who were once worshipped but remained dormat for a long period of time. This of course, did not go down well with Fijleh, who is now out looking for revenge with his Broccoli sword. Yes, err...broccoli. The game boasts both single-player and multiplayer. In single-player, players will be able to choose to either play the story-mode or test their skill in the Challenge-mode. Multiplayer boasts co-op and versus mode, where in the latter, two players will play against each other with one choosing to play as 'The Heroes' and the other as the NPC. "The aim of this mode is to spark the competition; should an ‘NPC’ deny the main player from finishing the mission in the time challenge. "NPC" player possess the "limited" ability to shift control across other NPCs along with other chosen abilities (from the menu), giving him the edge to deny the main player soul harvest and health regeneration," reads the description on the game's Indiegogo page.
